Did you notice that a cat’s coat has around 100,000 hairs per square inch? Additionally,
when those hair follicles are shed, they may go into your food, clothing, or your lungs. Do cat
hairs harm you, then?
It turns out that cat fur does not pose a threat to people. However, some people may have
allergic responses to pet hair and saliva from cats. Cat hair allergies may cause symptoms
including wheezing, coughing, watery eyes, and breathing problems in some people.
It is important to keep away from them if you are worried about their hair, however.
